Values: At St Albans we have been doing 7 different values, Creativity,Excellence,Community,Manaakitanga,Initiative,Fun &
probably the most important one of all, Respect. Respect is about relating to others appropriately, treating others the way you want to be treated and being friendly.

News: On different days of the week we have different items of news. On Monday we have sports news. On Tuesday & Thursday we have persanonal news. On Wednesday we have current affairs from around NZ. Everyone should have news on that day! I won’t say who, but someone, on Wednesday brought in a toy for news. This week we had some really good news stories from; Nellie,Aidan,Tarn,Baedin.

Stationary: Some people in our class need new stationary fast. They need new rulers, pencils, pads, rubbers etc, etc.I wouldn’t be surprised if your children are coming up to you saying “ Can I have a new pencil, ruler etc, etc”

Educational Review Office: There are two people from the Educational Review Office here to look at our school, the teachers & the children. We are all on our best behaviour!!!! Mrs Jones came into our class and marked Mr. Y’s books.

Lucy: Today Lucy is going to Singapore,Germany & Spain. She is going for eight month so we won’t be seeing her in a long time. If I was in Lucy’s shoes I’d probably be very excited, nervous & a bit sad because I would have leave my friends. I asked her some questions about going to Singapore,Germany,Frankfurt & Spain. Apparently she is excited & worried about leaving, she is looking forward to going to Spain the most & she feels sad about having to leave St Albans School for 8 months.

Last Friday I learned how to place our newsletters on our classroom Wiki. You can get to our class Wiki through the school homepage.
